Espace Paysan Horloger

"One day I discovered the Espace Paysan Horloger in the hamlet of Le Boéchet while on a hiking tour through the Franches Montagnes. The hotel and restaurant including a museum is actually a completely refurbished former farmhouse. I really enjoyed my stay here, from the culinary delights to the tastefully decorated hotel room where I spent a restful night. The museum in the basement of the house tells of the culture and history of the watchmaking farmers in an appealing and playful manner. At the end of my visit I went on a walk organized by the curator of the museum to see the houses of the former watchmaking farmers in the surrounding region."
